This year’s ceremony will once again be hosted by James Corden, who also led the 2016 Tony Awards. Hosts of the Tony Awards are typically well known figures with extensive careers in entertainment, including acting, writing, directing, or producing. Past hosts include Kevin Spacey in 2017 and singers Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles in 2018.

Born August 22, 1978 – British actor, comedian and writerJames Corden is a multitalented performer known for his work as a television host, actor, comedian, singer, writer and producer. He made his stage debut in 1996 in the musical Martin Guerre and rose to prominence in the United Kingdom with the comedy series Gavin & Stacey, which earned him a BAFTA Award.
In 2012, he won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his role in One Man, Two Guvnors. He later starred in the film One Chance, expanding his career into Hollywood. Since March 2015, he has hosted the popular late night program The Late Late Show with James Corden, becoming widely known for his energetic and comedic style.
Corden has also hosted several major awards shows, including the Hollywood Film Awards and the Grammy Awards from 2016 to 2018.
