Buyer & Cellar – Story

The Plot / Summary of Buyer & Cellar

Alex is a struggling actor with dreams of making it big in Hollywood. His career in Los Angeles consists mostly of small roles in one off productions, with little recognition or stability.

After a disastrous incident while working in costume as Roger Rabbit, Alex loses his steady job at Disneyland and is permanently dismissed. Desperate to find work, he manages to land a new position through an unusual job interview.

The catch? His new role places him in the basement of a woman’s home, working as a salesperson in a very peculiar setting.

At first Alex is disappointed by what seems like yet another dead end, but he soon discovers that this job is far from ordinary…
