The Plot / Summary of Maybe Happy Ending
Oliver, an old-model robot who has lived alone for years in a small apartment, filling his time with books and music.
One day, a female robot named Claire moves in next door.She also retired and is no longer needed by humans. After working together to chase out a bug that wandered into Oliver’s home, they slowly begin to talk.
Oliver is drawn to Claire’s curious and lively spirit, while Claire starts to see the gentle and thoughtful side of Oliver. As they listen to music together and explore the city at night, they discover the warmth of sharing life with someone else. Even as robots, they begin to feel something very close to love…

The story slowly touched my heart, and I couldn't stop crying. I was truly moved by how human-like the robots were.
I am not really a fan of sci-fi, but I was surprised at how realistic the robots' emotional expressions were! The jazz music was also great, and I feel like I want to bask in the afterglow forever.
