More than watching, it’s experiencing
This show proves that performances don’t have to stay on a stage in front of you. The action takes place overhead, around you, and right in the middle of the crowd, and you’ll be stunned from the very beginning.
It is the kind of production that would likely never be staged in many other countries, which makes seeing it Off-Broadway even more special. It isn’t something you simply watch, it is something you experience.
I won’t go into too much detail, because the surprise is part of the magic. But I can say this: no matter your background, everyone gets swept up in the energy together. There is no barrier between audience and cast; in fact, you become part of the show yourself. The teamwork between the performers and crew is incredible, and it is what makes this production possible.
No need to worry if you don’t speak English. Just follow the flow of the crowd and enjoy the ride. Since it is performance-driven and not dependent on dialogue, you can enjoy it fully without missing anything. Simply go with the flow and let yourself get carried away.

Stage effects on a circus scale
The set design is massive – almost circus-like. Every time the scenery moved, the audience shifted too, which made the experience fun and unique. It means you get to see everything up close no matter where you are.
It’s great to go with a big group of friends, but it can also be fun if you go alone and just let loose among strangers.

Absolutely thrilling
I finally saw it live, and the difference between video and real life is unbelievable. I was toward the back on the side with a friend and thought the view might be bad, but it turned out to be perfect. Since the stage shifts between front, center, and back, you sometimes end up right at the front with the performers.
At one point I even got showered with confetti, bumped into a cast member backstage who said “sorry,” and had all sorts of wild, unforgettable experiences.
By the end, the audience is soaked from the water effects, and the energy is off the charts as everyone dances together. Definitely bring a change of clothes because you’ll need it. Once you see it, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Incredible staging
The performers are outstanding, but what really amazed me was the staging and direction. Scene after scene unfolds with incredible energy, using elaborate sets, lighting, and sound to full effect.
The atmosphere makes you feel like a kid again as you join in. If you wear a swimsuit underneath, you’ll be fine even when you get wet – and in the winter, definitely bring a towel or spare clothes.
Despite the title, the artistry and precision behind the show are surprisingly delicate, which is exactly why it feels so powerful and unforgettable.
