Into the Woods – Story

The Plot / Summary of Into the Woods

A world where fairy-tale characters live side by side.

In this world, a baker and his wife long for a child but are cursed by a witch who has made it impossible for them to conceive. To break the spell, they must complete a mission that leads them into the paths of other beloved storybook characters.

Their quest requires the help of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood. Together they must collect four magical items: a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, a slipper as pure as gold, and hair as yellow as corn.

After many failed attempts, the baker and his wife finally succeed in completing the tasks. Along the way, the characters learn that chasing selfish desires comes with consequences. When the vengeful wife of the giant slain by Jack descends to seek revenge, the heroes must unite, discovering the true importance of family, friendship, and standing together in times of hardship.
