The Plot / Summary of Just In Time
At the heart of Bobby’s story are Polly Cassotto, who raised him with deep love, and Nina Cassotto, whom he grew up believing was his older sister. Behind his glamorous success lies a complicated family history that profoundly shapes his life. Even as he moves closer to stardom, the loneliness he has carried since childhood never entirely disappears.
Bobby’s talent is eventually recognized by influential figures in the music industry, and his rise to fame begins in earnest. Don Kirshner and Ahmet Ertegun appear in the musical as Bobby is discovered, promoted, and transformed into one of the defining entertainers of his generation.
