The Plot / Summary of Schmigadoon!
As they get to know the colorful townspeople, Josh and Melissa each experience new romances, unexpected friendships, and fresh perspectives on love. But the town holds a secret, and they soon discover that leaving Schmigadoon isn’t as simple as they thought.

Mildred Layton

I bought my tickets as soon as I heard it had won the Tony Award for Best Musical! Whenever a show wins the top prize, I feel like it's a must-see. I was also happy to find discounted tickets here before prices went up for the summer. I can't wait!
I'm especially glad the original Apple TV+ series is available with Japanese dubbing, so I can get familiar with the story before seeing it on Broadway. I guess it's finally time to subscribe to Apple TV+!
If you love musicals, you'll absolutely have a great time. I laughed so much throughout the show, and even the Playbill was adorable!
There were so many things I loved: the beautiful costumes, one great song after another, the colorful sets that kept the mood uplifting, and the fantastic ensemble dancing.
The only downside was that some of the jokes and references went over my head because I wasn't familiar with every classic musical. Since it had just opened, many audience members seemed to be devoted musical fans, which probably made that more noticeable. Even so, I left the theater with a huge smile on my face. It was such a fun experience!
