Since the Netflix series relies heavily on CGI, I was honestly a little skeptical about how they could recreate it on stage. But the production completely exceeded my expectations. For two and a half hours, one spectacular effect after another unfolded right in front of us, with elaborate sets, impressive props, and nonstop visual surprises. It was an incredible experience that reminded me just how exciting live theater can be.
I was prepared for the tickets to be extremely expensive, so I was surprised that they cost about the same as a stage production in Japan. Considering the quality of the show, seeing a Broadway production like this at that price may actually have been a great deal.
I had been looking forward to the show, but my trip was canceled, so I asked to cancel my booking. Thank you very much for handling my request so quickly. It was a huge help.
I'm so disappointed that I hope to plan another trip to New York next year. I wonder if the show will still be running then...
I went along with my family without having watched a single episode of the Netflix series, but I was still able to enjoy it as a completely standalone dark psychological thriller. The story itself was gripping, with plenty of suspense. I saw several Broadway shows during my trip, but this was the one that stayed with me the most.
I'm a huge fan of the Netflix series. Since I was already in New York, I casually decided to see a show and chose Stranger Things because I love the series. It was so entertaining that I completely forgot about the language barrier. I was so excited I nearly jumped out of my seat!
I think many people around me were also fans of the series, and the final few minutes gave everyone chills and had the audience reacting out loud. I feel like I finally understood what makes live theater so exciting. What an incredible show.
