Beauty and the Beast – Story
The Plot / Summary of Beauty and the Beast
One day, while searching for her missing father, she stumbles upon a mysterious castle deep within the forest. Inside, she discovers him held captive by a fearsome Beast.
Once a prince cursed for his cruelty, the Beast can only break the spell when he learns to love – and earns love in return – before the last petal of an enchanted rose falls.
Belle offers to take her father’s place, and though she remains in sorrow at first, the enchanted servants – transformed into a teapot, candlestick, and clock – bring hope and warmth. They believe Belle may be the one to set their master free.
At first, the Beast’s temper only drives Belle away, but over time she glimpses the kindness beneath his rough exterior. What begins with fear slowly blossoms into love, and the fate of the castle rests on their hearts.

Beauty and the Beast – Reviews
Review from Laurie:
It was romantic!
It was my first Broadway experience, and since the ticket price was a splurge for our family, I was worried it might be a mistake… but it was absolutely worth it. In fact, it was so moving and magical that I want to see *Beauty and the Beast* again next time we visit New York. Our two young boys were captivated from start to finish. Truly a wonderful experience!
